Is anybody else having eBay suddenly (or even when opening it) defaulting to the .com site and being presented with everything being priced in Dollars & Cents?
It seems like it's an ongoing problem, but it only hit me a few days ago. I've tried every solution I can find so far, and none has worked.
Just to make it even stranger, I've got two eBay bookmarks on Chrome, one for guitars, and one for Hi-Fi, both with a few options (UK only, price limit, etc.) stored in them. "Guitars" goes straight to Dollars and Cents, but Hi-Fi defaults to Pounds and Pence. It does that in Windoze, on my Chromebook, and my iPad Mini.
Yes, I've cleared Chrome's cache, but it's doing the same on Firefox, Edge and Opera.

I'm using this thread to sketch out my thoughts, and findings. Please feel free to jump in. I'm using Chrome, and in the same window, and address bar I'm pasting these links.

In Chrome Yes Yes
In Edge Yes Yes
It's not a browser thing, then. Seems like something strange is going on at eBay.

I get the same results in Opera, and Firefox, too. The (other) odd thing is, there are posts on the web about it going back at least years.

Happened to me yesterday with Chrome. Seems OK today.
But..... On my Android phone I can only get the mobile unfriendly desktop version of eBay. This started 2 or 3 days ago, I think.

Don't you use the eBay app, Jerry?

Have another
I have many searches on Ebay
So many that I miss any missing.
Ebay unhelpfully mixes up the text between Look for Keywords and Exclude
So it is wise to check they are still working properly every so often

Don't you use the eBay app, Jerry? I've tried to download it a couple of times but it says it's not available in my location! I've no idea where the darn thing thinks I am. Anyway, eBay used to work fine on my phone until a few days ago.

Today I opened eBay from my " guitars" link, and it duly presented me with loads of guitars in North America, priced in Dollars & Cents. I changed the .com to .co.uk in the address bar, refreshed the page, and all was good. Proper BRITISH guitars at proper BRITISH prices. (Sorry, I went a bit Al Murray there.) I then deleted the original link from Chrome and saved the new one. It now opens to the correct .co.uk eBay site every time.

There's a problem with your posted links in the o/p, I think that's affecting the resultant URL. Does this work?

Sorry, I should point out that I'm in Germany and you could see the region switch.
