Sounds well out there
I'd try it if it were passing

There have been other voltage biased cable systems in the past, some using batteries.
However, this made me smile "Like a cable which is a good tube amplifier instead of the low tech solid state offerings of other companies."
Anyone who uses this argument with me gets the same smile. Valves are way behind me now.

I guess the way they have promoted the product puts me off, would I try it in system no strings attached of course I would. But these days I am with Jerry on cables I prefer looking for well made cables with good materials at a reasonable price.

Strikes me as a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
Would like to play a measurement sweep of before and after, looking at Amplitude vs Freq, TH distortion and Phase vs Freq, as well as listening.
Oh, and I'd need 5😱
I'm no photographer but the composition and quality of picture is terrible!

AudioQuest (yes, I know, AudioQuest fan-boy ) make cables with boxes attached marked with "72v" which they describe as a patented "DBS" system, which stands for Dielectric Bias System. This is how they describe the doodad when attached to their high-end speaker cables. For a fuller explanation (or more marketing bollox depending on your point of view) go here: - www.audioquest.com/accessories/audio-enhancements/noise-trapping-dbs-packs

I had a pair of their 72V DBS interconnects. I can't recall which model. They were a right pain in the bum to use. I just couldn't tell any difference between battery on or off. I really did want/expect to hear a diff, but nope. As I get older I just get more sceptical about all of this "out there" stuff. My hearing also inevitably declines as I get older. Maybe there's a connection!
