I just loved this warm music documentary around the Russian 7 string guitar and its connection to the Brazilian 7 string guitar

Comfortably Numb, if it were written by Dire Straits
You wouldn't think this could possibly work, the transformation from one of my favourite bands to the style of the other. He does it brilliantly and the final guitar solo absolutely nails it.

Nope, I don't like the Sultans... video as much as Comfortably Numb. He absolutely nailed ...Numb, and captured Knopfler's tone perfectly, and well as a lot of the phrasing.

Talking of Comfortably Numb, I came across this on Farcebook last night, and it's not too shabby.

This one stopped me in my tracks. What a voice! Not my type of thing really, but as you say, Jerry, what a voice. It sounds like she's got a heck of a range, and her use of vibrato, coloratura almost, gives this song a cool Arabic twist.

She has a good voice. Borders that line between being commercial but interesting

I agree, she verges towards pop, but a beautiful voice, amazing technique and with astonishing power.

I think Mary Spender has one of my favourite deep female voices, but also with quite a range.

Aurora It happened quiet.
Ethereal vocals and quite dark content.
