I bought myself a pair of HiFiman 4xx planar cans from Massdrop a wee while ago and I love everything about them other than the cable. The frustrating thing is that the cable appears to be unique to this model therefore cable upgrades for other HiFiman models don't fit. Any help in this regard would be very much appreciated, thank you...

What are the plugs? - 2.5mm jack into each earcup? If so, should be easy enough to source I'd have thought.
I've got older Hifiman planars - 400s and 500. They both use weird smc screw-on connectors - you think you've got troubles!

It's a solution but I think I may well end up making my own cable once I've got my soldering station back out of storage, thanks though... 😉
