Its a bit chilly here this evening so I fancied a nice warming bowl of porridge. My nephew bought me out a couple of bags of Waitrose rolled oats last time he came so I opened up the first bag and a flock of moths flew out!! Didn't really fancy eating that so I tried the second one and bugger me, the same thing happened. They are still flying round inside the rubbish bin. Perhaps that's what they mean by organic

does it not suggest a freedom from artificial preservatives? I guess the sell/use by date lulled you into a false security

does it not suggest a freedom from artificial preservatives? I guess the sell/use by date lulled you into a false security Possibly. We were lucky that the oats were the only thing that was infested and we managed to get all the buggers. The chickens didn't seem to mind the additional protein.
