A direct quote from their £8,000 fuse page;
"Much of this may sound outrageous . . . ."
No shit Sherlock! Still, they do give you free UK delivery, so they can't be all bad eh?

Once again...
You cannot be ripped off unless there is...
a) fraudulent misrepresentation or b) you are not of sound mind
When you purchase any item of equipment, you make a value judgement: does this item I want justify its price? You can either walk away or make the purchase.
If you decide the latter, you cannot have been ripped off, even if you subsequently see it cheaper elsewhere. The value judgement you made still holds.

In fairness I don't think anyone has said anything about being ripped off, outrageous pricing and being ripped off are different things - making a choice is up to the buyer, on that I agree

It's perfectly possible to be ripped off having bought something whereby you trusted the claims of the manufacturer at time of purchase, to later find out that their claims were misleading / fraudulent / complete bollox.

Yes, and I listed that as one of my exceptions. From what you wrote I read it as if one cannot be ripped off if one believed the item to be fit for purpose at time of purchase.

One man's ripoff is another man's reasonably priced article. It's all about having an opinion, to which we are all entitled, and to the best of my knowledge, it's a right which the government has not tried to suppress ...yet.
Why would I pay two or three times what my entire system cost me to buy a fuse? I wouldn't, obviously. It might not constitute a "ripoff" to me, but I'm still entitled to think it's a fekkin daft price to pay for a fuse.

The £5400 plug description must have been written by a stand up comedian.
< The Power Jitter's are subjected to QSA's propietary quantum techniques utilising both MMAT and MAT technology. These processes dramatically improve phase detail, this encompasses a whole host of sonic benefits: more low level information, better and more seperate harmonics, complicated musical passages rendered with more intelligibility, plus improved bass detail and slam and finally an overall sense of ease and naturalness even at high listening levels. >
After much deliberation and consideration, I consider this to be premier league blx. And no, I haven't "heard" this plug.
