Hello, I came across this site while surfing the internet. What's even more welcome is that one of the board members stood a picture that I made in front of the WE 16A horn. I've been fond of audio for decades, and now I'm retired from work and mostly listen to music. WE 16A Horn is often ordered from home and abroad, so it continues to be made. I hope to have a good relationship with other members in the future. This is my blog address from Google. we16ahorn.blogspot.com/ And, I am living in Seoul, South Korea. In which country and in which city is this site operated? Regards,

If you let us know the location of that post, we can edit it to give the photograph proper accreditation to you, if it doesn't already have it, if you that's what you would like.

Welcome to TAS, yehkun (would 어서 오세요 have been correct?). That horn is a thing of wonder. Your English is excellent, by the way.

There are no speakers in this world that can play all genres of music well. However, I haven't seen any speaker better than the combination of the WE 16A horn + WE 555 driver yet. I think the speaker determines the sound quality of the playback device 60-70%.

It is very important to overcome the directivity of the horn speaker. In that respect, the WE 16A horn is best because it has a wide directivity.

I agree Loudspeakers make a huge impact on sound Horns have a sink in effortlessness to them and I can understand why people love them. My speakers work well with the types of music I enjoy. Very different from horns but a addictive listen. We have quite a few members here who really love their speakers and what they do. I can only imagine the time and passion to build such speakers. Martin Mike and myself were invited to hear a huge horn at SpeedySteve friends home. So have a sense of what speakers like yours can do. Not for me with my taste in music but it was a experience I shall not forget. Your Blog is fantastic by the way

Human throat, most brass woodwind instruments have the same structure of the horn. So I'm guessing that horn speakers are the best structured music reproduction ever. In a large horn, some hall tones are already produced until the sound waves generated by the driver pass through the horn. So the sound is natural and live as if you are listening right in front of the stage.

I think horns need to be large to be really uncompromised. There will always be issues with deep bass and colourations, especially in smaller horns.

Yes that's right. The horn must first be big.
