House double glazed, loft extended into and insulated with Cellotex, cavity wall insulated. Curtains and blinds drawn at night. Internal doors shut. Makes a surprising difference Mini fluorescents currently, LEDs next up. Very few lights on, often just one at night We do not light up the outside areas of our property Cook with electricity and gas hob Heating and Domestic Hot Water via a gas fired condensing boiler Sorry to say we only air dry about half the washing. The boss insists on a tumble drier for the rest, condensing though We run two ancient petrol cars both 2.3T. I do way more miles on my bike. A few hundred a year in the car. The boss does more but not currently The boss is an infrequent flyer. I don't at all We recycle all food waste. Very little and the dogs help ! New potato patch took a load of cardboard recently all recycled or given on Freecycle. Larger items are taken to recycling centre, but Freecycle can take all sorts of 'rubbish'. Look out for people asking for even broken TVs and PCs Soya milk for me, almond (yeas I know) for the boss. Investigating making my own Oat milk Garden waste is all composted. We have lousy soil Grow lots of fruit and veg, not self sufficient. We do not buy junk food, ever I'm vegan, the boss is veggie sliding to vegan Hate concrete and tarmac's drives Lots of moss on the gravel drive which does not have weed killer on it 99% of hifi and kit is bought 2nd hand Helps being a cheapskate shamelessly borrowed from 'another place'

I recycle. LED bulbs are "green" and I have them throughout the place. I don't drive or fly. I cook with gas, but that's practical. We don't get"gas cuts" in the winter. Even in the midst of a power-cut I can still brew up a coffee, and prepare a meal. On that note, I'm trying to eat less meat, which counts. I have my groceries delivered. One van making 20 drops = 20 fewer cars driving to the supermarket. I use recycled loo-paper. I mostly use a Nook, or a Kindle, rather than buying paper books.
I can't think of anything else.

Forgot. We have Tesco deliver. Makes economic sense to me even though it took a while to convert. Take your point on the 20 drops. Must be less. On the Tesco saver jobbie I think I pay around £2.50 a delivery. Post Covid I must investigate our local Coop as they seem like good people

Lolz...I help drill holes in the Earth...
In my day to day life hmmm, not that great. Cars not exactly a green machine but I do cycle a fair bit. We recycle too but juries out on that
Garden waste gets recycled too and we have no food waste.

I do all the energy economising with bulbs, heating etc.
But I own a supercharged sports car and I love it. I'll still be driving it when everyone is on battery cars.
No virtue signalling here.

Green with envy on your efforts. We get a report here locally (Chicago burbs) and we are in the top 20% of similar surrounding homes in both gas and electric usage. Good windows, mostly LED bulbs. We recycle, do some errands on the bikes, have a small garden, cars run on gasoline.
BTW, I see CCR on the playlist. I grew up in the S.F East Bay (high school in the late 60’s). John Fogerty lived about a mile away. Never saw him out and about, he was a bit older, but did see him much later in concert.

I intend to fly again as soon as it is safe.
I can't imagine not going abroad for different experiences. It's one of the things that maintains my sanity.

My life is a holiday I set out to make home life as good as possible many years ago and have succeeded or at least taken the placebo Don't go away for holidays. It's too good here and unbeatable for me. Hate crowded places like airports and really do not like flying That conclusion reached many years ago and coincidental to being 'green'

I love flying but haven't done so for... crikey, how long? No idea - 15 years or more probably. I may never do so again, like Mike I just don't feel the need to go on holiday anymore.
Fairly small car, just the one (wife doesn't drive).
Get home grocery deliveries now due to CV19, but it's cool and we'll probably continue to do that even after the virus has been sorted.
We're managing very happily with minimal use of car during the pandemic. No real reason to go back to our old high mileage ways once it's over.
I suspect CV19 has had a long term greening effect on our lifestyle.
Low heating costs, we generally wear an extra woolly rather than have the heating on full blast.
5 cats atm, that's not very green at all.
We're both habitual charity shop users and that's a good form of recycling in more ways than one. That will pick up again once we're vaccinated.

'Course I only mentioned my 'greenness'
6 dogs is not so green, although they are all rescues Power amp comes on at around 6.30 and stays on all day. SMSL Q5 and Pioneer CD in the kitchen on around 7.30 and on all day.
Both our cars are low mpg but little used, especially mine. I used to get 30mpg. The boss perhaps around 25mpg.
So much of what we do was going on before Covid. Tesco deliveries just one. I only ride the bike because I enjoy it. Driving the car can often be a PITA
Way too much is bought for the grand daughters and we are not the only ones feeding them all sorts

By far the greenest thing we do is not have any kids. That outweighs everything else by a substantial margin.

This year I've kept only the underfloor heating on the ground floor running until yesterday. Ruth has finally cracked and asked for first floor heating, but I'm only running it in the evening and only in the rooms needed. The towel rails warm the ensuite for the mornings. It's looking like the lowest oil consumption of any year so far and that means a lot of £££s saved. Green, too!
I do leave the hi-fi system running except for the power amp as it takes too long to come up to full SQ from stone cold (and the music room, being a converted double garage, can get very cold unless I idle the underfloor to maintain 15C).
Her car guzzles more fuel than mine so I'll remain smug about that.
