If you spend a lot of time looking you can find some great stuff with good sound quality.
Much of it sounds shite, though, which is a shame.

My TV ownership started when my mother and brother insisted we have the old black and white they were getting rid of.
G/F insisted we have it
Used to listen to the radio a lot, read many books and of course listen to music
Spent last night watching things I could do without keeping the boss happy

My mates Dad has a nice wee cottage up on Arran and his living room is big flagstone floors,rugs comfy settees an old(but good) hifi and no TV.
I love it.

TV is strictly verboten in my music room - I do have a 42 inch plasma screen for (mainly) Gilbert & Sullivan.
