The Raleigh Chopper - now this is some proper nostalgia. Always wanted one back in the day but mum didn't consider it a 'safe' bike ... Anyone have one?
Rode one. Happier with my Raleigh Palm Beach *roadster* ! Upgraded the Sturmey Archer gears to twist grip

I was given one for Xmas in 1970 as 'compensation' for moving to a new town, new school etc and because I was desperate for a bike. First new (and proper) bike ever (I'd built one from discarded ones found abandoned before, but it was a tad heavy and had no gears). On the south coast it never snows, but that year it did. A lot. At first it looked like bike riding was out, but with those chunky tyres it proved quite the thing.
I rode it for 3 or 4 years and added the obligatory 'whip aerial' / flag etc and then did it up and sold it to fund the purchase of a racing bike.

I played a bit of bowls in my younger days, but if I'd ever pulled off something like this I'd probably have stopped forever, because I'd have known that I could never top it.
I didn't use to need the internet, my wife knew everything.
Does anyone have any kind of experience with 3d modeling softwares? In my case I'm using Mastecam x5. The 'CAM' stands for computer aided manufacturing.
It allows one to create geometry in order to create parts that can then be precisely machined in CNC machines.
I was given this software 2 months ago when I threatened to quit lol. So I use it and study it every night and have made plenty of progress creating toolpaths but if even 1 button click is missing or out of order there can be no result. Which then leads me to endless trial and error of button clicks to get the result I need. Otherwise I have to go and fight for every scrap of information at work.

I use CAD software, but not CAM as I only machine manually. The only 'CAM' element is creating slicing files and g-code for 3D printers. So I'm not much help I'm afraid.
