Four years ago today, my birthday present from Mischa was a trip to Berlin, including a Wilco gig. That was the night before the election in the US and after a little stage/audience banter about the election, Jeff Tweedy said "Don't worry, we've got this".
I will never forget that moment. The audience laughed but I had a nasty feeling about it all that was proven to be warranted when the results were announced. Since then, I have read the US and UK press every single day without fail, with growing horror about what that monster has got away with.
So, yes this is the best present I could wish for.
