Sad news that Len died a couple of days ago. Modifier of Grado cartridges, manufacturer of digital levelling devices and alignment guages, as well as the Isolator headshell spacer. He was also a fanatic user of Radford valve amps. I first met him when I took my ramshackle old STA-15 to his house for him to do some work on. We had fascinating conversations about gear and music that day and on several subsequent ones. For a while, he was a secret source of new, old stock Mullard EL-34 valves! A gent who will be missed by many, I am sure.

Sad news indeed, he really liked the Grado designs and modifying them. He had a great reputation.

Sad news that he has passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly as I understand it.
I visited him once, about 35 - 40 years ago, I guess. Amazingly precise and dynamic sounding system with Radford valve amp and Quad 57s, iirc.
Interesting character, self confident to the nth degree!
