Hi all, I’m Joris from Antwerp, B. Owner of a Beresford Caiman SEG since 2016. Owning other analogue switches from Beresford as well. SEG is connected to my pc through USB, a Quad 34 pre and a Quad 405.
During the CoVID-19 lockdown I worked from home so thinking of upgrading the SEG. Furthermore i also build a RPi with HifiBerry digi+Pro running Volumio which i also connected to the SEG (coax).
My main system in the living room is Rotel RC1570 & Rotel RB-1080 connected to Beresford speaker/amp switch together with a Quad 33/303. Loadspeakers are B&W 805S.
Hoping to learn a bit more of upgrading my SEG on this forum. Thanks for accepting me, All the best, Joris

Hi Joris and welcome to the forum.
Take a look at the SEG upgrade threads and ask questions as you need. Stan is also in this forum and can be asked questions directly. Enjoy!

Welcome from me too, Joris. What kind of music do you enjoy? Quite eclectic taste: some classical, some blues, but these days mostly post rock (Mogwai, Russian Circles, Explosions i/t Sky, Briqueville, Astodan...), trip-hop (Massive Attack, Bonobo,...) and electronic jazz (Portico Quartet, GoGo Penguin,...)
