I'm trying to get a bit more out my bluetooth connection - I know,I know - and as such I'm looking at various 3.5mm to 2 RCA cables. Priciest seems to be about £85 cheapest £1.50. Gotham looks like the current leader just now but if anyone fancies knocking me one up I'd pay up to Gotham price for it - roughly £20.
Im also keen to hear any other ideas about getting the best out of bluetooth. For me I use it for handyness not ultimate sound quality and if I hear stuff I like I just buy it on cd or knock a cd up. Seems like an ancient concept a bit now!!
Anyway if there's any bored diyers looking for a wee project,I'm yer man.

Do one for you no problem mate, trouble is I'd struggle to do it for 20 quid by the time i've bought the plugs and the cable, what with postage costs as well.

Chris, try a WTD message, it might be better to recycle an existing cable than start afresh. I have a huge box of cables and plugs collected over 20 years that I would happily give away but unfortunately the only 3.5mm to RCA is very low quality and wouldn't be a sonic improvement over anything you currently use.

Cheers Gents I did consider it myself as a wee project, but as you say,it doesn't really make sense. I'm also a bit sceptical it won't really make that big an improvement. As I say bluetooth is for convenience not sq really! Plus I want my amps sorted out first!!
Oh well,worth a try

Chris, I have a set of these which are very good quality. I paid £14.99 for mine from Curry's however these are a bargain if you're not worried about the odd cosmetic blemish or two

That cable arrived and it's pretty good - in fact for £3 it's ace. Better than the IXOS one I was using.
Thanks again Dave.

Aye the plugs are chunky but they are solidly manufactured and a good, tight fit... (ooer missus)
