No, but I do have a grounding box on each. I have an Aucharm on one output of my P3 and an Aucharm XL on one output of the P10 regenerator. The outputs of my regenerators are very much lower impedance than the mains itself. That means plug-in filters will be many times less effective. Ok, thanks for the reply. I’m wondering about my Powerinspired AG500 having a smps, could it have noise on its output that could be treated with one of these plugs? I've got an AG500 and have always found the output to be super clean. Tried putting a plugin filter on the mains block it fed, made no difference.

Ok, thanks for the replies. I’ll do a bit of experimenting when I get a couple more filters. I have my Tv, Dac, dsp and router fed off the AG 500. I think the Tv is noisy when on.

I wouldn't connect my TV even to the same ring main, let alone the same power block, as my hi-fi system.

I wouldn't connect my TV even to the same ring main, let alone the same power block, as my hi-fi system. I’ve no choice unfortunately as my Hifi is in the living room. But I often watch/listen to music on YouTube and use the sky box for Spotify. The sky box sounds better than the Tv. We also use the Hifi for everyday Tv/Netflix as I cannot stand the shrill sound of Tv speakers.

I do understand and I have the luxury of a separate music room (with no TV) and a dedicated 60A radial for the system. What I do use in the main house, to good effect, is an Isotek Mira EVO3 filter for the TV that helps to isolate it from everything else. That helps the AV system to sound pretty good.

Looks like my Fidelity Audio “No noise ultra x se” will ship today. Hopefully it’s only a day or 2 to get to Ireland.

The “No noise ultra x se” got delivered today after a very slow customs process followed by a bank holiday weekend here.
It’s a relatively small, lightweight black box, not dissimilar in size to a small Dac like a Benchmark Dac1. The front has a very dimly lit yellow/orange led and the back just contains a fused and switched IEC inlet. After powering up, there is a noticeable hum from the unit, like you’d often get from a transformer, so I’m guessing it’s a 50hz hum while the unit does it’s thing with the mains.
First impressions on the sound are of quite profound imaging properties. Front to back imaging is much more present and 3 dimensional positioning of sounds that wasn’t there previously. Reverb trails are also highlighted as if those things lurking in the background have been brought forward. Dynamic contrasts are more evident now too, I think because you can hear the subtle details that either weren’t there before or were hidden in the background.
Now the question is will an upgraded fuse at its Ac inlet improve things further? I’ll let the unit have its recommended 600hrs first.

So the Kemp brings 'calmness' and the Ifi AC Purifier is crap.
Not too far from my results, then.

The ifi is a bit of a strange one. In the video they hate it, but in the written review it does ok.

I bought the iFi a while back as was intrigued enough to try it but it was complete pants - more like a noise inducer in my system.

I bought the iFi a while back as was intrigued enough to try it but it was complete pants - more like a noise inducer in my system. I found it worked quite well in mine, enough to make me pursue plug in filters more. I think there is a new and an old version, so I wonder does that have anything to do with it?
