Curiously I'm not seduced by ifi products at all, and I know Vince well. However Salma Hayek slowly moving one of those devices between her upper body parts, could prove a winner for ifi  Trust me, my experience of iFi ’noise reducing' products is not good. I am hoping this is something that bucks the trend but hopes are not high … |

Over the last few months I have resisted the urge to purchase any new lab equipment, however the urge was great Obi One  So this afternoon a couple of boxes arrived, wonder what was inside them?

Turned out to be a medium pair of powered SMT tweezers & matching powered stand, some tips for soic 8 & sot-23 packages for the micro tweezers we have plus a delux powered tip cleaner. I thought these were just lazy way to remove the flux etc from the tip. I stand corrected they are a bit special at what they achieve, so its a posh tip cleaner

From the headfonics review - headfonics.com/ifi-audio-go-blu-review/< I got about 4 hours from planar headphones using a moderate volume level and did get very close to 9 hours using very efficient IEMs at low to moderate volume so it seems close enough to what is specified by iFi. > |

I use a Filo BR5 which gives for half the price and dose the same job I think you would have the same sound issues unless a different phone Jules Just been looking at the BTR5 - looks excellent. Do you use the bluetooth or wired connection? |

On the positive side, thay're supporting the Playing For Change Foundation. On the negative, that transparent chassis wit hthe transparent platter is, quite transparently, overkill. I'd like to see it with, perhaps, a marble chassis, if they're looking for something outside the norm.
