This new HiFi Rose RS-130 streaming transport looks like a decent high end option with its fiber USB tech - around 4.2k Looks like quite an exciting product, the nod towards Fibre is nice, the downside...the price,but nice to see things advancing |

Before splashing >£4k on it, make sure you have a listen to the Sonore Signature Rendu SE, too. Unless you feel you really need the display (trust me, you don't), then it would be interesting to hear how they sound comparatively. You see everything you need for controlling it from a tablet or phone.

Personally it's only a mater of time before the usual suspects Gustard, SMSL,Topping start adding them to there units, which has to be a positive. |

Are all the pauses in his delivery for dramatic effect?
There seems to be quite a lot of ego involved. And too much blather about the aesthetics etc
Not sure I will take him up on his $200 ph consultancy service.

I've only seen about 3 of his videos - and not all the way through. I just can't take him seriously. He does have me amused though with how some people view hi-fi.
