An interesting list, as ever. I find I've only added 3 items to my playlist, though - it would have been more if Hyperion releases were available streamed.
I'll go back to the article - I did find it clumsy to access legibly on my laptop so I'm sure there is more of interest, I barely looked at the runners-up; I often find they are of more interest!
I am rather perplexed about the enthusiasm for Igor Levit's Beethoven sonatas, very decent for a lad in his late 20s for sure, but in the grand scheme of things they continue to seem fairly run of the mill to me. There are far more interesting pianists around imo. In 20 years time he will hopefully have something more to say, but it might be too late by then for me to appreciate it!
