Just looking for hints and tips really on storing speakers. They're in the lift,which is dry,on fkoorboards ,mostly in cardboard boxes,with covers and a plastic sheet over.
Anything else I should be doing?

I have nothing to confirm that I may be right or wrong, but after hearing stories of people turning the drive units of long inactive speakers upside down and hearing miraculous improvements in what they hear, I'm going to suggest that storing them on their backs might be better for them than standing them up.
Gravity pulling the cones down on a permanently inactive foam or rubber surround may cause a bias in its ability to flex.
