Hi Chaps,
I'm kicking myself in the derriere for having sold the Klyne preamp but in the end I may like more a valve unit.
Please feel free to list any recommendations.
Cheers,
Horacio

What people should understand is when I say this is better than an EAR 868PL I mean it, because it is.
It is far more flexible, is more solid and looks better and it sounds way better. It's much more alive than what I thought was the relatively dead sounding EAR. You only understand this when you have owned both.
Plus it has way more valve rolling options to allow you to get it where you really seriously like it.
I have more than 40 years of hi-fi experience.
Get over the fact this is Chi-Fi. It s excellent. Really - it is.
Apologies to Tim.

If you had 45.5 years worth of hifi experience and I needed a tube preamp I would have snapped it up Justin!

Depends when you start. Used to sit in my brother's painted purple room listening to his home made valve kit from the age of 5. In which case, by verbal contract, you are compelled to buy! I am raising the price of this preamp to £20,990. However, it is still available for £900.
