Many others expected in so many industries
Wonder if the changes will stop or at least slow down

That's very sad, seems like it was doomed to failure regardless of CV-19.
Very fine speakers. A real loss to the UK industry.

Unusual to see such a strongly worded statement - must have been very tough behind the scenes there.

I wonder if they found the cabinets hard to build. I went over to see Alan and his wife a couple of times. He was diligent with his builds which might have been hard to replicate profitably.
It is really poor form to say that a director of a company is not salaried any more. It must have been quite a clash...

I had a couple of years where there was nothing left for me. Fortunately good years previously kept me and the company afloat

It was quite a surprise to hear Dan D'Agostino and his son were fired from Krell, the company he built from nothing, by the investor the bank insisted he should take on:

Dan D'A did OK after that. I hope Alan Clark of Kralk can make a strong comeback - the current situation does not look at all good, foul play at work I suspect - kind of reminds me what Colin Wonfor has been through. Not good.

Sounds like a similar thing that happened to a company my dad worked, he was chauffeur to the owner, the owner brought his friend over from Australia to run the company, then that guy and the board tried to a hostile takeover, my dad's Boss said to hell with that and sold all his shares, took his money and essentially killed the business, retired and bought a large house with fishing rights on the River Tay 😊
Anyone remember Skullcrusher sweets, well that was his contribution to the confectionary world 😉

Feels familiar to what happened at Metrum. Cees the brainchild at Metrum got into bed with a bunch of investors who had grand plans for growth etc. Soon they became stretched leading to weak customer support and eventually to bankruptcy. Cees started a new company (Sonnet) and I guess the Metrum investors lost a bundle. But the story has a happy ending with Cees (and his two partners) getting back all the Metrum assets (including the name) and they are now back in business.
Hopefully Alan Clark can find a way forward for Kralk.
Judging from the filings at Companies House it is clear there has been lots of changes since March when the company was formed.

Dan D'A did OK after that. Not really the point. If you watch the video he lost a shed load of money trying to fight it. In the end thought it pointless to continue to do so. Could have just retired from the audio world. Instead, started from scratch again.

Moving from a principled one-man-band to a company with multiple leaders & agendas is fraught with danger. Too bad...from what I know of Alan he's a very genuine bloke.
