Anyone had them? Unfortunately I do have them. I can't understand how I got them I haven't had anyone over in ages. About a month or so ago I was itching tearing my arms and legs up and this went on for a long time not understanding what it was.
Then a couple weeks ago I found so e bug on the wall thinking they were ticks. Then I found a ton in all of the creases. I can't afford a new bed at the moment because I just bought a good used car (2005 toyota Carolla only 42k on it).
Maybe this weekend in 3 weeks I could get one but dint want to infect everyone around me and roommate. It's a miracle no one I know has gotten them.
Any ideas?

I'm afraid I can't really help, as I have never had a problem with them, except for a few scratchy nights in a hotel in Toronto.

Powerful vacuum cleaner for the bed itself and wash all the sheets in a hot wash.

Don't now for sure as we very occasionally get fleas bites due to the dogs
Open the bedroom windows Vacuum the mattress Leave for a an hour or two Turn over Vacuum other side Take into the sun if you can
Wash all the bedding Vac all the carpets and hang outside if you can

Nasty horrible things, stayed at a small pension in Peru years back and got covered in bites every-time I went to bed. Took me ages to shake them off too, as I found out after awhile I was taking them on holiday with me in my rucksack!
Good luck getting rid of them, it should be fairly easy if you are methodical. I have a phobia about them since that experience as they can be awful, so I feel your pain.

They are indeed tricky things to get rid of. The EPA guidance is good though.

Strip bed, wash everything you can fairly hot. Spray bed, room, floor, carpet, cracks in the walls, beams, all over etc etc with Indorex. Leave the room for a few hours, do not breathe in while spraying. www.amazon.co.uk/Indorex-Defence-Household-Flea-Spray/dp/B07M6QNZT3/ref=asc_df_B07M6QNZT3/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309859607452&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15076095741294729408&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006634&hvtargid=pla-700828967035&psc=1It kills ALL bugs, great and small, and hangs around killing them for 6 months. A quick respray is all you need. Doesn't kill us, or our cats. It also keeps our open thatched porch completely spider free in all the recesses etc!
