As I have more time I decided to try the Wim Hof method Its basically rapid breathing and long holds followed by cold water. I found my mind to be more focused and improved energy levels. This has led me to adding planks and now press ups as part of my morning exercise regime

Go John! Sounds rather unappealing to me, worse than Murray's ice baths after every match😀 But, it's whatever works for the individual. The diaphragm is a large muscle that we need in good form, like the heart.
Had I been him, I'd have changed my name to Hot, counteract the cold 😂

My last visit to check my mild asthma showed my lungs are 20 years younger than me Probably the biggest influence is 1 4 2 breathing. Breathe in for 1, hold for 4, out for 2 Build up multiples to where I currently sit 10, 40, 20 Repeat 10 times, 3 times a day The other influencers are yoga for an hour a day, walking the dogs twice a day and 25 mile bike rides about 4 times a week Have heard about cold and not keen. Might try it...

It takes a while to get used to the cold water the initial shock is the worst part of it
I sometimes 10 seconds in breathe 10 seconds hold and 10 seconds exhale I will increase the length as I get more used to it
