I remember when those talk boxes were all the rage and there were all sorts of scare stories doing the rounds about how they caused throat cancer and gave you some sort of lung disease. It sounds ridiculous in this day and age, when everyone knows that it's windmills that cause cancer.

Here's Paul McCartney. I was shocked at how much he is worth now. Years ago I remember reading (can't remember where, but it was before the internet) that he was worth about £33M. All those remasters must have paid-off.

Not a fan really, but some interesting facts including he spoke 6 languages and refused an award from Putin. Being Ukrainian and not Russian, he saw no reason to accept it. Didn't know Panic In The Streets was his debut film. It's a really excellent Film Noire with riveting performances from Richard Widmark in particular. Quite apt for what's happening now. Full film was on YouTube but I couldn't find it now when I looked.
