I did rather wonder about that one myself. A few vids on the giant of Kandahar shot by the US Military that was mentioned. Fascinating account. Might try one of his CDs: More detailed account:

Laithwaite was brilliant. Magnets and linear motors driven monorails rings a bell. I shall enjoy giving that a watch when I have time tomorrow.

Brilliant linear motor. 100kW consumption - no wonder it could do some damage!

This is the "Harpejji," made by Marcodi Musical Products, and they've been making them for around 12 years. I'd never heard of them either.
If you get bored by the explanations, just have a listen to Bohemian Rhapsody. Stevie Wonder is a fan, and there's video of him playing the Harpejji on YouTube

Quite intrigued when I saw and heard the first video. Tad disappointed by the Queen track. Suppose though, all manner of sounds would be possible with pedal effects. Had me thinking about Kevin Godley & Lol Creme's Gizmotron. Looking on the 'net bit surprised to find they started on it as far back as 1969 and patented it in 1975.

Not quite PC.
Saw a couple of these a few years ago. Thought it was real at first, but at the same time thought it familiar:

The film is Downfall and quite compelling. Bruno Gantz played the part of a lifetime.

I finally got around to watching that Shadows 60th Birthday show last night - I'd recorded it when it was broadcast - and it was absolutely brilliant.

Bizarre. How could we possibly know anything about it as fact?

There were the same "he's dead" rumours flying around the internet the last time he vanished for a while. Mind you, I wouldn't bet against anything happening in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Have you ever noticed, by the way, that countries which have "Democratic" as a part of their name invariably aren't? Thanks for the clip, it was entertaining, interesting, and, dare I say it, thought provoking.

Bit surprised when it popped up.
Suppose the truth will reveal itself in due course.
The Shadows again popped up. I kept ignoring it but gave in eventually. Thought it was entertaining. Wonder why Bruce W has the strat?
