There are some tracks that fit together so perfectly that they effectively become one, so that to hear one without the other following it (or preceding it) is just wrong. Sometimes a pairing works so well because they are similar, other times the contrast of two totally different tracks is just perfect.
Some pairings that work like that for me:
Patti Smith - 'Babelogue/Rock & Roll Nigger' The change is at 1'15" ish
Smashing Pumpkins - 'Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness/Tonight, Tonight' 2"40' ish
Led Zeppelin - 'Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid' 4'10" ish
Dave Brubeck - 'Blue Rondo a la Turk/Strange Meadow Lark'
CSNY - 'Almost Cut My Hair/Helpless'

The Wurzels.
I find the following track's blend very well and must be played together...
Combine Harvester / I am a cider drinker.
Quality.
