I know there is at least one member here who might be interested in this, so I thought I would post for any others? The link is in a .jpg, so I have reproduced it here - DUMMY STANDARD LP RE-ISSUE PRE-ORDER

Thanks for the heads up Tim, loved this album! Did a bit of digging and seems that aside from the original 1994 LP release, there's been a couple of 180g reissues? "Simply Vinyl" 180g reissue in 2000 www.discogs.com/Portishead-Dummy/release/161252"Go! Beat" 180g reissue in 2008 www.discogs.com/release/1526433...and now finally the 2014 reissue. Too soon to tell about the 2014 release, but good discussion over on Steve Hoffman Music Forums about which 180g reissue to go for sound quality wise between the 2000 and 2008 version. forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/portishead-dummy-simply-vinyl-or-gobeat.155234/Based on this just bought a sealed mint copy of the 2008 Go!Beat version. Also picked up first pressing of Led Zep Physical Grafitti...for £27 SSK 89400 A1 / B5 / C1 / D1 UK pressing. VG+ condition. This was missing form my Zep vinyl collection and apparently this is a good'un to get. Trawling the web to find best pressings? Yup, Discogs will do that to you!

Sounds like that vinyl bug has really bitten you Gary I bought the Steve Hoffman 180g remaster of Hounds of Love recently, just need to get a turntable running to play it on now!

. . . how you getting on with the Rega? Coming along Gary, not in any great hurry though, as I have nowhere to put it until I move at the end of the year. Bought a Technoarm on AoS and have a new belt and ball bearing. It's completely stripped and the bearing and motor have been serviced and checked over, I just need to buy some new feet, a mat and restore the plinth, which I have decided to paint rather than wood veneer. I might buy a machined motor base which de-couples it completely from the plinth, which to me seems a very worthwhile upgrade. It'll be a little different to how it started out and most definitely not yellow!

I still have the feet from my old Rega Planar you can have Tim? In my spares drawer. any use? Thanks Gary, very kind of you but the Rega feet I have are fine, I was wanting to upgrade them to something that decouples the plinth and is height adjustable, I quite like the ones Vic at Trans-Fi Audio produces. If I use the Michael Lim motor isolation base, the deck needs to be raised to accommodate it, so the vanilla Rega feet won't work with it.
