I used to like HFN. There doesn't seem to be much content in them for me nowadays. It's the same with Stereophile.

Yes, I agree - I gave up on mags years ago - but for £1 for 3 I thought they might help maintain interest during the coming social-distanced months. I've invested £2.  |

HFN is the only one I subscribe to (both print and digital). I only skim through all of the equipment bits usually though, but I do enjoy the articles on albums and producers plus the reviews of new releases etc. The Vintage section is sometimes interesting as well.

As a part of my Christmas pressie, the kids bought me a subscription to Guitar Magazine, that's far more interesting if a little dangerous.

"Three issues for a pound!" - What could possibly go wrong?
I signed up on 8th February 2020, intending, as many others no doubt, to cancel after receiving my three print issues of the magazine!
So far, I have received the April and May editions, but after examining my credit card statement today, I see that MYTIME MEDIA LIMITED have already snatched £11.45 (on 6th April) for a quarterly subscription that won't start until the July 2020 edition!
Worth bearing in mind for those considering taking up one of their offers!
Cancelling is also about as easy as getting dog shit out of the soles of a pair of trainers!
I rang a number detailed on my subscription confirmation and after telling my story to a woman and requesting cancellation of my subscription, she gave me an email address and said that I had to write, in order to cancel!!
I shall not be going near MYTIME MEDIA Limited again!

It does specify on their website that you have to cancel in writing.
It also says, I think, that you need to do so before the 3rd of the mags is due - sounds like they have been naughty in grabbing your money so soon. I think I will cancel immediately and get my credit card company to stop any further payments just to make sure.
