I'm not sure whether anyone here knows about Bibliophile Books? They specialise in end of line type books. I've been receiving their catalogue for years now & there's nearly always something of interest to me in it. Most of it is far and away different from the sort of tat you find in places like The Works. I've bought some fantastic and unusual books at stupid low prices over the years. Take a look at the website. There is a pdf catalogue but they'll also regularly post you a printed version on request. No connection other than as a satisfied customer of many years standing. I remember their printed version - a good read! I didn't know they still published it.

Any good kindle sources anyone? I own a 3rd gen Kindle and use an e-book manager/converter app called Calibre to convert e-books in other formats to the native Kindle AZW format, upon which I upload them to my Kindle using the app (your Kindle needs to be hooked up to your PC via its USB cable). This has proved to be very useful

Cheers Dave but that's far too complicated for my simple brain! She's got loads of books on her computa so might have a wee sift through them and try to get some onto my ipad.
Appreciate your reply.

Either that Chris or search for e-books which are in Mobi format because Kindles can deal with this format too, it's all about increased choice and reducing the pressure on yer wallet

Hah - without a USB socket and without the ability to create a shared folder, that'll be a struggle.
E-mail?

Do you mean email them from her computa to my ipad?

I was thinking more of e-mailing them to the Kindle. It has an e-mail client, surely? It's an implementation of Linux, I would have thought.

Chris, when you set up your Kindle account you will have been given an Amazon specific Kindle email addy. I've just remembered that any e-book or document sent via this email addy to your Kindle is automatically converted into Kindle AZW format
