Well done, I've heard different models of Revel sound good in shows. Which finish did you get?
Give some consideration to how you will decouple them from the floor. Don't use spikes!
Also - if they encourage you to find ever more challenging source material, make sure they can still replay 'unchallenging' material well, too.
If it makes you feel better, I started down the track of buying my Usher Be-20 speakers when I bought a copy of The Absolute Sound in 2008 while I was in Houston, featuring them in a review. I ended up trading in my JM Lab Mezzo Utopias for them. Sometimes a good review can tell you exactly what you need!

To my eye I’m not thrilled with the white speaker cones but, maybe that is the result of their ceramic composition. The tweeter Waveguide is good. Much better in dispersion yet I had to tip, ever so slightly, these speakers forward due to my lower listening sitting position. The speakers sit on high-pile carpet, no spikes. The standard-fair 16bit-44.1Hz recordings are fine but, it is a treat to listen to a well recorded 24/96 recording. The previous B&W 702 S2’s cracked open that next level of sound while these new boys step firmly into it. Here are a couple pictures without and with the grills.

Amazing similarity in specs between your Revels and my MBLs. Similar size and weight, give or take. Similar freq response, extending well beyond 20KHz. Yours have double 8 inch woofers, I think mine are 8.5 - not sure, anyway two of them. AND you tilt the speakers forward a bit - so do I! Very different driver tech, though. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

Looking good. If the covers don't affect the sound, I'd keep them on.

That's great.
How about writing up what you hear in them for us?

That's great. How about writing up what you hear in them for us? Well you know, as a pedestrian, lacking both wit and imagination and being ask to describe how ones’ new speakers sound to a group of audiophiles is fraught with peril. But, I think over time work bench technology has provided important ingredients in the continuing pursuit of replicating the sound a studio desires. I remember about 50 years ago being a budding rock’n roll fan and first listening to a friend’s new JBL L100 loudspeakers. I was smitten by their sound compared to the ‘radio-shack’ type of sound most everyone else seemed to have at the time. My odyssey began with immediately mortgaging my future and buying a pair. From there to some KEF 105/3 to B&W and now the Revel F228Be. The sound transparency, detail, soundstage, and cross-over has improved over this time thanks to high technology, better components and good engineering. Lastly peer reviews and social media have helped with providing the road signs for traveling in the right direction. Every speaker upgrade I have made over time I believe has provided another step in music reproduction, from hearing instruments which I had not heard before on the same recording to 3D soundstage passages which tickle the auditory sensory system. But you guys know all this! Happy listening

Good enough! Everyone uses different language to describe sound so there is no accepted 'audiophile-speak' I'll bet there were some aspects of those JBLs you missed while transitioning, especially via the KEFs and B&Ws.

They appear to be a very decent set of speakers by all accounts I have read so far.
Enjoy!

Every speaker upgrade I have made over time I believe has provided another step in music reproduction Wow, you have done very well then! I have had plenty of disappointing speakers in my time but thankfully I always managed to sell them really quickly without losing money and moved onto the next pair ...
