My dad needs a pair of cheap (30-ish quid) headphones. They must be closed back designs to prevent him driving my mother mad.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Have a look at the Superlux range, Chris. They do a closed back model in the range.

For a bit more there's the Audio-Technica ATH-M20X I've got a pair of their ATH-N50X cans which I use for monitoring when recording, and they're pretty good. |
