Decided to upgrade from long-time lurker to new member. Been in 2-channel most of my life but am now building a headphone system. Looking forward to participating.

Martin - Clears at the moment but am looking to move up the Focal chain to either Stellias or Utopias. PS How is Tony these days?
Chris - Started with a Schiit Modi 3 (about to be sold) and Magni 3+ to see how I got on with headphones. All good. Really liked the Schiit stack. Trying out a Qutest at the moment (though curious about the RME, BF2, Aries 2 and Burson V3). Amp is the Gilmore Lite 2. I will work on some pics.

PS How is Tony these days? He's always busy, buying seemingly ever more expensive test equipment and making very good use of it. It's great when the measurements start to match what we perceive when listening to kit. He did some superb work on my DAC recently, taking its performance right up to dizzy levels and all backed up by what he could see on the power rails, ground planes and clocks. |
