Maybe get an experience day - I got my Dad a falcon day that he enjoyed. Maybe get something for the bike? Vouchers for a service maybe/new tyres? No experience days I can think of that would be attractive to me Doubt I need a service as I had one in January and miles were cut since Have spare tyres Cycling shoes a bit knackered.... Step out your comfort zones mate. Use the experience day for just that - an experience you wouldn't normally do it that would appeal. Go drive a fast car,go up in a helicopter,go a boat trip...go snow kayaking!! But do something. Have an afternoon tea somewhere maybe? Go score a bag of weed and get melted with yer fave tunes on...kidding...no I'm not

I love my comfort zones
Cars don't do it for me anymore, especially with speed cameras aplenty. No way I'm going up in the air or on or too close to water
Currently luxuriating in front of the system with laptop to one side as white hairy laptop Lily is centre

My mum has bought me an air fryer at my request.
I would have been horrified when I was younger, but I'm honestly excited and looking forward to trying it out.

I'm sure you've done your research, but lianaskitchen.co.uk/air-fryer-recipes/ covers some of the pretty basic, but sometimes surprising, things you can cook in an air fryer.

I'm getting a Cosori Air Fryer. Thanks for the recipe/cook tips, Paul. It'll be a whole new world for me. Ruth approves, too!

Less use of the oven and frying pan, especially the latter.

Why is it better than the oven ?

Smaller and more efficient - hot air starts very quickly. Good for 1 or 2 portion meals.
