A big slipper? That always reminds me of Billy Connolly

Well I'm an old bloke and I know what I'd like for my birthday It's probably illegal, immoral, or far too expensive, Tim.

What I would like that may be more difficult than Tim's wants
World peace Climate change to be recognised by all as a problem Honest politicians Everyone to switch over to a vegan diet, gradually will do
might be a few others
I'll take any or all as my Birthday present !

Back to the same question now for Christmas
I'm seriously thinking of asking for donations to charities as my present. Anonymous Vegetarian Society, PETA, Greenpeace are the ones that pop into my mind. There are many others of course
Does a donation sound like a cop out or maybe even insulting to the givee ?

Books and clothes for me. The family moan but I'm just trying to be helpful!

Maybe get an experience day - I got my Dad a falcon day that he enjoyed. Maybe get something for the bike? Vouchers for a service maybe/new tyres?

Books and clothes for me. The family moan but I'm just trying to be helpful! I have too many books already in my queue Don't think I need any clothes, although the boss may disagree

No experience days I can think of that would be attractive to me Doubt I need a service as I had one in January and miles were cut since Have spare tyres Cycling shoes a bit knackered....

Driving experience days are great fun. A chance to let rip and see how you handle a car without fear of losing your licence.

Same but different.... Would love to descend the Alps on the bike - on closed roads. If I had the courage / stupidity
