Merry Christmas everbody. I got up early to have a peaceful hour to myself before my nine and six year old's wake up. Then it will be noisy with wrapping paper everywhere . Just getting my camcorder (no i don't have a smartphone) ready to catch the big event. It's hard being a nine year old boy and still believing in Santa. He was awake crying at 10.30 last night afraid that if he didn't go to sleep Santa wouldn't come. Oh bless. My six year old daughter was so excited last night that she wore herself out and went to sleep straight away. |

I'm currently enjoying my first alcoholic drink of the season: a nice glass of Malbec, courtesy of my 2nd cousin and her girlfriend who slipped the bottle into the hamper they gave me for Christmas... So cheers, skål, sláinte, prost, etc. everyone.

Phew! Back this eve from a week away visiting my family and then my partner's. Absolutely the last time! It's too much now with two kids - doing our own Christmas next year. Hope everyone here had a great one!
