What are your hifi New Year Resolutions?
Spend more or spend less?
Any bits of kit you have your eyes on?

Some kind of new source for me. I do want to move away from Bluetooth but unbelievably there's NOTHING that does it all, easily and simply!! Maybe pick up a new valve amp too. Quite fancy a commissioned build but not quite sure yet as to what exactly. Single Ended with hand built transformers at least. Just have to see how the money goes this year.
Quite happy with everything else I have so that's it really.

Just a couple of pieces Jules Hifi wise
Some new TAD speakers plus the new dac
Test equipment wise, some rather nice probes (whoo err misses) an audio analyzer plus a bigger bandwidth NA
simple tastes this year coming

I haven't spent much this year as it's all been reinvestment. However, that's going to reduce dramatically next year.
Listen to more music, discover more connections, enjoy what I have while I have it.

Ummm ... gosh, I hadn't given it any thought.
Just trundle along as usual, I guess. No specific plans - the one thing I really do want to do is hang on to the weight loss I've managed to achieve this year and perhaps lose a little more. Yes, that will be my one NYR.
As for hifi, I'll just see where things take me, as usual. No specific plans at all, but I expect my system will be very different to how it is now by the end of 2020.

Yes more weight loss please 😀
I'm just hoping I don't put on what I've lost over Xmas and New Year!!
I think the only thing I might experiment with is my preamp but I don't have any major purchases in mind - I've done very well for new components this year so just a bit of tweakery for the main part in 2020.

Looking at decoupling for my speakers in 2020. Plus we are planning on moving (finally) next year so hoping to get a better suited room for the system Non-Hifi, planning on moving (as above) and getting on the weight loss bandwagon.

Sell stuff. Like, who needs 9 amps anyway? Zombies won't care...
Build up to running again - what does that orthopaedic surgeon know anyway.
Listen to music. I'm pretty settled with my system. Time to enjoy it.
And get my work system back working.

Nowt, just listen to music and buy music. That'll do I forgot some . . . read a lot more. I set myself a challenge to read 25 books this year and I'm now on my 37th, so I'd like to try and beat that in 2020.
Go to more music festivals - I did 4 this year, hoping to up that to 6 next year.

I've got more stuff to sell in New Year.
I am being very strict about selling to fund any purchases now.

It's a good philosophy, Jules. I have done very well from it and it feels good to clear out what I don't need any more and find a good home for things.

If we could we would move in a shot to Devon because we love it, but due to work commitments we will likely stay in the same area as now, just hoping to move up to a slightly bigger house.

Hmmm! I've just added it up and in 2019, I spent just over £20K on Coherent ground box, ground cables, 6D and BD mains power cords, a Mutec Ref10 Master Clock and some peripherals (MeiCord ethernet cable, SR fuses, LPSU and ground box for the router).
I feel fairly sorted now, having scratched the signal grounding itch and the system is sounding so good at the moment, that I can't get enough of listening to music, whenever I can!
Can't think of any major upgrading for 2020, but never say never!
