Switching the SR Orange back to the stock, ceramic-filled fuse on the Lab12 DAC made the biggest difference and seals the fate of SR fuses in the German system.
I will pull the one out of the sub later and switch the Orange back to Blue on the other lead, pending something else. I will also switch the two Titans over so that the UK plus one feeds the sub and the power and is on the one fitted with Schuco plugs. I have been meaning to so that for ages anyway.

I found the Blue good, the Red better I've been putting off Orange and Purple so far

Very strange. I've heard of adverse reactions to SR Orange and SR Purple fuses but never experienced it personally.
In fact, the one I don't like is the SR Blue - for me, too soft and dull.

I was expecting a subtle uplift, but the negative impact was impossible to ignore. All SR Orange fuses are out the system now and I have also swapped the 2 Titans over although I cannot tell. The cables are identical and the only difference is the UK plug on one (now with the SR Blue back in and powering the sub which has its stock plain 20 mm IEC fuse back in) and a Schuco on the other. I thought it would be useful to rid the main part of the playback chain of a fuse and I will try a HiFi Tuning one it I think (I'll probably order one for the DAC, amplifier and TP PSU as well). Tomorrow a Lector VM200 power amplifier should arrive from Italy to compare with the Lab12 Suono and I might hold off on the order until I see what fuse that has in it.
