If you want to treat the contacts on ethernet RJ45 plugs, I would suggest a tiny amount on the tip of a pin. Then spread it by plugging and unplugging a few times. Thanks Martin, I’ll give that a go when it arrives.

Have a couple of small tubes of Bob's Graphene Contact Enhancer. Will get around to using it someday.

It's good stuff, Brett. Use tiny amounts.

The Mad Scientists Graphene contact enhancer arrived today.
So far I’ve just treated the plug section of the ifi ipurifier as it was the easiest thing to start with.

I’ve just treated quite a few points with the graphene. Just the easily accessible ones so far. This stuff is impressive. The extra life and detail it brings, along with micro dynamics is really nice.

Is there any burn-in period for this contact enhancer?

None that I have noticed. Two things to observe:
1. Use less than you think you should use: the contacts should be barely discoloured, not black. 2. Plug the connector in and out a few times to spread the enhancer onto the contacting surface.

I’ll just have to try and hold myself back from opening up all my equipment to find where else I can apply the liquid.

I have yet to do all my fuse holders. A job for a rainy day.

If we only need a tiny amount will the 2ml bottle do ? What size if not ? Do the contacts need re doing after a period of time ?

The 2ml bottle will probably do a whole system. I bought the bigger bottle as I planned to do everything possible if it worked, which it did. It’s hard to tell how much I’ve used as it’s so black and coats the inside of the bottle, but I’d guess I’ve used about 2ml and treated just about everything including the consumer unit.

I've had two 2ml bottles and still only used one of them in many applications. They go a long way.

Last night I opened up my Dac and treated all the power connections. There are quite a few as it has 4 separate transformers. Untitled by on Flickr Really nice increase in resolution.

Don't forget to run the Tara Labs burn-in for a couple of days after performing the treatment. You will be surprised.

Yes, it made a big difference for me. The graphene improved resolution, the Tara smooths the resulting brightness.

Any thoughts, amended or not as to where to start with the fluid ?
I was thinking about just the feed to my AM conditioner as everything comes from that

I was thinking about just the feed to my AM conditioner as everything comes from that The next time you get a power cut, work systematically through every power cable (both ends) and interconnect, both analogue and digital. Also speaker cables. You only need a tiny smear, no need to blacken it. The fine brush provided is excellent for getting into small connector holes and the IEC end of the power cables. Please unplug the system first! It takes 24 hours to settle and you should run the Tara signal for at least 48 hours afterwards. The outcome is better resolution and fine detail without altering the system balance towards brightness.
