I've had a good long listen now. It's still a little variable but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The music is good and punchy in places and downright weird in others (the Yiddish style street accordion in The Wizard of Altai Mountains). The opening to Part 2b is wonderfully atmospheric.

I'm giving this a 4/5 with the promise of more listening to come.
