I've moved on to the graphene contact enhancer. Bob goes to great lengths to stress the importance of using a tiny amount so that the graphene is only filling the cracks in the contact surfaces. The tiny tube of this stuff will do all of my contact surfaces a great many times over.
I've started with only my two sets of interconnects: XLR DAC to preamp, phono preamp to power amp. I used the tiniest brush and just touched the surfaces such that they slightly discoloured. I then plugged each connector in and out a few times to get the graphene into both surfaces.
I'm now listening to Leonard Cohen's Ten New Songs again and there is a further improvement in natural delivery. This is such great music making that I'm just enjoying each duet more than ever before.

This is interesting too Martin . Once I've finished playing with the discs this will be next on my radar

I shall eventually treat the speaker cables and power plugs but it's good to do things a little at a time and appreciate the results. Each of the accessories: Donuts, Discus, Magic Tubes and Graphene, has made an audible improvement to my system. The total effect is to make you take notice of the music, again and again.

I've just treated all my power connectors with the graphene contact enhancer. It's given me a little more music. Everything I play sounds sublime, but especially voice. Leonard Cohen, Joss Stone, Mark Knopfler, Brandi Carlile, Jennifer Warnes, Ry Cooder all sounded superb in this morning's session.

And finally I did the speaker connections earlier. The system is singing beautifully.
I would say that the Graphene Contact Enhancer is an excellent product and way better than Deoxit.

You said there is improvement everytime new stuff is introduced. I wonder how 'bad' it was before.

So many people make similar comments. It wasn't bad at all before I started using Mad Scientist products. However, all these improvements are subtle but audible and add up to a great deal more insight than I've ever had.
You could say I had a very good hi-fi system before. Now I have a very good music system.

When testing these days I usually think it is great with the existing set up
Then I hear a bit more of this and that. I'll take that !

My honest response is that my system was bad in my previous house, mostly (but not all) down to a very unhelpful room. Although many of the components remain, my new room plus careful attention to treatments have transformed it.
Up to a point, looking for nirvana by endlessly swapping components never really gets to the root of the problem.

Putting Magic tube together with Discus can multiply the effect

I dropped in to see Bob on Saturday. Getting him to make up a couple of Nitro Nano cables, with one hard wired to an Eichmann Power Strip.
His place gets an awesome view of Mt Taranaki.
What a nice guy. Invited me in. Fired up his system. We chatted, and listened to a couple of songs. First time I'd seen a pair of electromagnetic speakers. Damn, they are tall. A really nice sound as well. More weight than my system. Had one of those LKS? Dacs too. I could have stayed all day. And plenty of donuts all over the place!
One of the good guys.

Slightly OT but yes, Bob has been a real gentleman to do business with.
Martin, I know this is impossible to score accurately, but can you give an indicative % improvement score from deoxit gold to Bobs stuff?

That's hard and I dislike % scoring. From Deoxit to Graphene is significant and noticeable. Around 10%?

Had one of those LKS? Dacs too. Yes, he has the same LKS DAC as me. It's what first inspired me to try the Donuts.

Have three donuts to put in. 2 for my Perreaux, 1 for my DAC power supply. For the first time in my life (a bit compulsive), I'm going to show a little patience.
1. Let the fuses continue to settle in and have a listen - maybe this coming weekend. 2. Add the Mad Scientist donuts. Settle for a day or three, and lsten. 3. Smear Mad Scientist Graphene Enhancer - let settle and listen. 4. Add Perfect Path technologies Emat+
That should get me to mid December...
