Hi All I have a simple question How do you use the foil in Beldon mains cable 19364 | 83803 is it just trimmed at the plugs or is it connected some how ?.

I think most people connect it to the earth at the wall socket end and cut it short so as not to connect it (or short it!) to anything at the component end. Some leave it disconnected at both ends. There's a bare wire in there too. This is treated as part and parcel of the foil, whichever way you connect it.
