Give this a go, Martin...
My new "Nordost" USB lead is handling it quite well. The bass has settled down very quickly.

This will activate your bass cones if capable that low.
Not my taste in music but I'm only here for the bass 😀
Bit explicit - you have been warned

Thanks, all. That sorts out my listening for tonight.
Can't say I'm a fan of hip-hop, though. That's likely to last mere seconds!

Nelly Furtado - Say it right Massive bass slam in this track. Not wrong there - that is an absolutely slammin' tune.

Give this a go, Martin.... Very funky with some serious drum slam and great bass playing.

Heard this at the show on Saturday, bet you’d like it on your system, Martin. Quite startling, the opening made me jump. Very good recording indeed. Similar to the Kodo drummers who apparently are amazing seen live.

I couldn't find this on any streaming service but I did play Greatest Wiffs and it's fun. Now I know where the Dave Allen theme came from!

You can buy the cd from his website. Well you could the last time I looked. All the tracks are on YouTube.

After rejigging my system a bit (mid bass back box volume change and turning the tapped horns up a dB or two), tracks like this join this thread just for sheer bass speed and pop. There is some deep stuff too, just not all the time..
The visuals the band used for this on Jools Holland's prog were simple and effective.

Aha - I hear a link to My Morning Jacket. Nice punchy bass as you say.

Probably not your style of music, Martin. But this is impressive, as is the whole album for that matter.

Thanks.
Sorry, but the first one (BT) didn't last 10 seconds and will be going nowhere near my system!
