Had my Tannoy Mercury M20s set up earlier and upon hearing them noticed a tweeter is away. Bit annoying. How easy are they to change? Is it just a case of swapping it out and plugging the new one in? Theyre good speakers...saw a pair on eBay for £300!!! : bit unrealistic I know but I think they're worth keeping. Saw this tweeter for £14 rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323810885634Going to investigate further toda to see if itll fit.

If it's an exact match hole-wise, it's a case of gently removing the tweeter and unplugging the spade terminals (unless the cables are soldered). Try to rescue the seal or use some thin draught excluder strip to make a new one.
Tweeters are often screwed directly into the wood so make sure not to over-tighten and strip the thread.

And make sure the wires go to the same place. Note the colour wire that goes to the " + " or " red dot " and make it the same. Rather like car shock absorbers, better replaced in pairs.

You might want to think about replacing both even if just one has gone.
If they are soldered, then be quick with the soldering iron. Very. Very. Quick.

I know nothing about the technical side of things, but logic (my logic, anyway) would lead me to replace both tweeters with a matched pair,
