No ya Silly Billy, i was only pullin yer plonker...!!! No shit Sherlock! (and I was genuinely laughing at your 'reviewer' comment yer twaddle, takes a bit more than that to upset me - taking the mick goes two ways you know )Anyhoots, back on track . . . glad you like the E10's Martin, I think they are a bit of a steal for the money and when you compare the abuse my pair have taken over the Ultimate Ears they replaced (which cost over 5 times as much), it makes you wonder. I really like the slick cable sheathing too, very easy to unravel. Certainly overall they are the best inner ears I have owned and I would certainly buy them again.

Tim (Dr Watson) I deduce by your overtly defensive posts you seem a tad up tight old chap...!!! I do hope you havent been taking my TAS comments over at HFS to heart - as you say "taking the Mick" is indeed best with 2 playing.. I respect your (imho misguided) views immensely, you are of course free to sing the praises and recommend In Ear phones at you will. But please (Deep breath-Relax) respect my right to disagree. You find em good. I find em Shit. Yes as you say perhaps we should move on.

I'm gonna pipe up here - bet yer glad. Funny wee exchange that you both made me giggle but jammy loses coz when you say you find em shit that's not right. You said you find in lug phones shit not E10s specifically. I'm just stirring it here ,just tell me to fuck off.

Mine came. Good quality cabling and termination, complete with serial number.
nice hard zip case to keep them in.
Sound is good enough for the money spent and a lot better than for example iphone own in ear phones or Samsung own in ear phones.
Well worth the money.
Not top quality hifi, but good enough and very good for the money.
I recommend them.

Looks good, Chris. Luckily the Sansa Clip+ gives me plenty of volume, once I disabled the stupid Euro volume limit setting.

Yeah,it is good. I like the kick up the arse it gives idevices. It also has 3 sound settings which do differ slightly. I don't bother with them though coz I'm old school.

I bought that also.
Only talking about the standard setting.
On iPhone 5c e10 phones, not a significant improvement. A brush on the cimbles is more defined naked phones to iPhone. Other music types slight improvement with the headphone amp.
I wouldn't cry if mine wasn't charged, would enjoy music quite enough naked.
There may be a small bass improvement. Voicing of violin is ever so slightly more realistic. Soundstage might be a very small amount more accurate . But delicate top end less defined than naked.

Read the review and pulled the trigger on the cans and a sansa clip. I was making the dinner last night with an I pod classic and superlux in ear phones after a wee session on the main rig----needed a bit of adjustment!!

Excellent! Hope you like them. Don't forget to disable the silly Euro volume limit setting.

Got headphones and sansa clip today. Bit of a mix up with amazon but came good in the end. The Soundmagics are very good indeed, I usually use superlux in earphones or a cheapish pair of senns. The headphones sound pretty neutral to my ears, probably the best in ears I have tried. I listen to cans quite a bit and as said before they very well made/loads of ear cups supplied/well isolated (when you rub or bump the cable it doesn't translate as a bump to your ears).Dare say they will settle down as I get a few hours on them-as is they sound very good.I haven't tried any expensive in ear phones (my sons shure ones are pure pish) but bang for buck I would happily recommend them to others.

Tried the soundmagics with my headphone rig... laptop/v-link/bm2 on battery power very impressive indeed. My usual cans are senn 650s with the foams removed, the soundmagics hold their own. I havent yet tried the different supplied ear cups-will have a play.

A little experimentation with the different sized plugs was quite interesting, the wrong size can really effect the music. I seem to have big lugs as the largest plugs with the double flange sounded best to me. I'm surprised at the quality of music these in ears can produce.
