One of my favourite albums in my late teens Jules the other 2 would be Rush All the World's a stage Yes the Rush is a great album but rather spoilt by the Fisher Price sound quality ...

Rick Wakeman - Piano Tour Live I can't find it on Spotify, or YouTube, but it's great, if you like Rick. It's just Rick, a piano, an audience, and 10 tunes interspersed with 9 of Rick's signature stories/introductions. Here's the track listing.

I wish there was a recording of the Anderson/Wakeman gig I saw in Basingstoke. They were hilarious together, and also very talented.

I thought I add a few Blues based albums BB King Live at the Regal Classic BB King has a great atmosphere
BB King playing with Bobby Bland I love how they work together and mutual respect they share
Buddy Guy raw and dirty
ZZ Top Fandango The live side has a raw dirty side

Dead Can Dance - In Concert
How could I forget? Orgasmic performance, an experience in the spirit of Hawkwind's Space Ritual (but much better recorded).

Apocalyptica - Wagner Reloaded: Live in Leipzig (Well, I like it, but I may well be alone, at least on this board. ) John Fogerty - Premonition. (Creedence Clearwater Revival fans should probably own this.)

| I almost forgot this album, and how good it is. One of my favourite guitarists along with a lady who I've been in love with for years.
There's a great mix of Emmylou's songs and Mark's songs on the album. Some they play together, and some they play solo, like the version of Romeo & Juliet below that's just a little bit different. I think it may be my all-time favourite version in fact.
I believe the whole concert that the album was taken from (there's a DVD and a Blu-ray too needless to say) is on YouTube, along with a documentary in two parts. | | |

As I posted this in the "Woodstock" thread, and we haven't mentioned Woodstock the album in this thread yet, I'll take this opportunity to say "Woodstock" and here's the best bit of live rock ever recorded**
**Other video recordings of live rock music are available. Your mileage may vary. Objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear. Caution! Slippery when rocking out.
