At least they can show frequency analysis of the product in action, unlike producers of the mystical boxes full of enigmatic shit

As yes, The Enigmatic Shits, famed for their use of high frequencies and fuzzy bass!

I can think of a few bands that would be well served by being called Enigmatic Shit, and for me Brand X and King Crimson head the bill. Nguyên Lê would also fit the bill, along with Steven Wilson and Hadouk.

It looks very similar to the Russ Andrews RF Router MKII, which I have had in my system for a couple of years. Same principal, hammer a 4' copper spike into the ground (no pun intended) outside and run a grounding (I won't use the word "Earth") cable through the house wall to a termination point (I have a RA box with a binding post terminal, which affixes to the inside wall of my listening room). A cable with a spade connector, plugs into this and the other end is attached to the ground terminal on my mains distribution block (Vertex Alethiea PSU2) via the RF Router box. Does it make a difference? Well, it makes me feel better for having done it! A rather good explanation and guide is here:- www.russandrews.com/images/pdf/GroundingMk3.pdfIt now costs a little more than Puritan's Ground Master, but Russ needs the money!

If you're going to do it these days have a sparky check it afterwards. You do NOT want to be the ground path for another house's electrical fault.

If you're going to do it these days have a sparky check it afterwards. You do NOT want to be the ground path for another house's electrical fault. That's the whole point of having a box like RA's RF Router (Ben Duncan designed) or the Puritan Ground Master in the path between system and copper rod outside. Apparently, a circuit inside allows RF to be wicked out of the system to the copper spike, but in the event of a fault, the protective earth connection takes precedence and complies with the latest electrical wiring regulations.
