With all the Fexit, orange baffoonery and driving at legal limits... Seems we missed the really important issue of summertime verses wintertime.
What would you choose?

Probably Summertime. Don't tell the boss though as she *insists* we must have GMT. Because we're British I think
Main thing is to stop messing around with stupid hour changes

As long as they stick to one or the other I dare say we would get used to it fairly quickly.

What we really need to do is hold a referendum on the question, and then give the government a couple of years to thrash out the details.

BST. I prefer dark mornings and light into the evenings.

I emailed President Trump for advice and he suggests that we choose British Summer Time - because it will be warmer.

Something I'm wondering about but not that concerned by.. What will all my non-connected devices, such as room thermostats, boiler timers etc, do when there is no daylight saving clock changing? They know when to change as they have calendars and you set the date and time. Perhaps it can be disabled? Don't think I've seen that option in the instructions
Just checked: Polypipe have thought of that of course!
Have to check my boiler timer instructions sometime.
Other news. I heard a barrister interview where he's been running on summertime for several years. He sets all his clocks and calendars to BST and has appointments automatically adjusted before they are stored. He said he never gets an appointment wrong. In the beginning he did once or twice but arrived an hour early.. He doesn't get up early, so it suits him better. Quite unusual / there's nowt so queer as folk!

Been thinking.
If we go for Summertime we could call it GMT - as Brits own GMT and every other bugger has to reference NEW GMT
Just for a larf we could make it 30 minutes - so we can do things by half
