Anyone else follow this? I've watched it since the beginning. The format is more interesting to me than ever, with more power, 175mph top speed, lights to flag race (no car change mid way) & they have Halo too I'm not a fan of fan boost. Not sure about the twice a race drive off line to pick up a further 4 mins of extra power - attack mode. We'll see. It shakes things up a bit. So far this year the racing has been close and as usual, lots of different drivers winning - no single team dominating. The amount of bodywork makes the card a bit more robust than open wheel F cars, and they need to be as most circuits are street / city circuits. Sam Bird is going well but was given a time penalty in Hong Kong.. 5 Brits on the grid and F3's Jamie Chadwick was driver input on the talking heads panel.

I've caught bits of it but never a whole race.

Similar to Martin, I have watched bits, but never really got into it fully. Interestingly for me, my cousin used to be the CEO of the company that supplies the cameras for Formula E and MotoGP for that matter.

For me the leap to a few at the start proper circuits would make it more compelling. Over time F1 and Formula E will merge, I predict into an all electric formula.

Traction Engine runs haven't merged with Formula 1 yet.

The internal combustion engine should and will die out with our generation.
The future is electric.

Thing I think is once the man / women in the street is driving electric they won't want to see irrelevant tech machines racing / pay for it. FIA has already recognised it. There will be classic racing of course, as today = nostalgia. Streaming (digital) really will replace CD and Vinyl - already has for the common people "sing along with the common people".. The catalogue available for most is just too tempting. The quality is certainly there, if done right. It's rejuvenated my listening experience.. I keep my SP-10 & Pioneer PL-71 for nostalgia and my offspring want to inherit them, one each.

Several ex-formula one names there. Some the rejects of course, a lot of good drivers I've followed through FF and F3 etc. Massa is there too.
Dario Franchitti is good commentating.

Watched a documentary about BMW Formula E evolution on Amazon Prime. Called Racing into the future: Formula E.
My heart is steadily switching from F1 to Formula E.
My lack of interest/excitement/enthusiasm in F1 has been growing. Can't really explain it. Just don't find it inspiring anymore..
