Shelter is a good charity and the local branch to me has an outstanding vinyl collection(mostly classical) for next to nowt. £3/4 a time. Its no use to me but I would like to work out a way to make this mutually beneficial to forum members and Shelter.
Im more than happy to go and pick up records for people but just cannot work out a way to make this happen. If anyone has a good idea, sound it out.

What a great gesture to TAS members and to the charity. How about if you explain to them your idea and ask them if you can take some photos of the spines of the records? You should be able to get 30 or 40 titles captured per photo and still be able to make out the text. It saves making a bloody great long list.

May well do that then. I will pop down there tomorrow and take a pic or two and post them up.

Thanks, Chris, that is a great gesture. You never know, there may be hidden treasure in there.

Wow! If you get enough interest for a group buy, Chris, I would love these boxed sets please: - Mahler 8, Haitink, Philips
- Bach St Matthew Passion, Willcocks, Decca
- Verdi Requiem, Giulini, EMI
Thanks!
