Mont St. Michele - France What kind of shutter speed / ISO did you need for this? It's a magical image and location, must go there.

Thanks! Nikon D850 w/16mm fisheye lens, approx. 125sec, F11, ISO400. Hard part with getting this shot is dodging the incoming waves between shots. Our guide could not get up fast enough while shooting a similar shot - completely soaked his camera and ruined it!

Brilliant!
Must have been quite the adventure.
Interesting that the fisheye looks like a regular wide angle on this shot. Is it cropped?

Thanks! When shot level, the fisheye doesn't distort much so no cropping needed.

The first image with that crazy elongated shadow immediately screams Salvador Dali to me, remarkable!
Would make a fabulous large scale framed print.

Patagonian storm approaching.... Notice the Lenticular clouds starting to form from the extreme high winds? I remember trying to hold my tripod steady due to the winds!

Remembering 23 years ago, when we visited Turkey. These ancient Roman cisterns are deep below the old section of Istanbul (formerly Constantinople).

Remembering 23 years ago, when we visited Turkey. These ancient Roman cisterns are deep below the old section of Istanbul (formerly Constantinople). Been there. They're as fantastic as they look, but the remarkable thing is they built the columns using recycled early Roman columns, some of which were used in whichever orientation worked best. Like sideways.

The Ft Worth Water Gardens. Designed by Philip Johnson. To smooth out the fast blowing sunset clouds and show the water movement, I elected to use a slow 30 second exposure.

2002 Bali bombings occurred on 12 October 2002 in the tourist district of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali. The attack killed 202 people. We were there, on the other side of the Island scuba diving. The following morning we arrived in Kuta, amid the broken glass and mourning people. I took this shot the next day just outside the city, at one of the numerous Hindu shrines that follow along the coastline.

I was in Bali in 1997. Gorgeous island with some trendous sights (the Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang temple and volcanic mud pits) but the politics were always bubbling under the surface. A lot of poverty if you ventured into the towns, too.
